Well-defined Rules™ enables the creation, storage and management of business policies, behavioral business rules, and other forms of behavioral business guidance -- all of which govern the actions of the organization to which they belong.

Well-defined Rules™ enables behavioral guidance to be stated in terms of the entries in Smart Glossary™ and in a way that enables its meaning to be understood unambiguously and interpreted in formal logic by both people and computers.  This is accomplished by implementing the behavioral elements of guidance part of the Object Management Group's "Semantics of Business Vocabulary and Business Rules (SBVR)" standard [http://www.omg.org/spec/SBVR/1.4/PDF].  The remaining part of the SBVR standard is implemented in Smart Glossary™.
